19th of May, Saturday- I went to Gloucester to watch Gifford Circus, in the morning while we are walking to the bus station, we saw art and craft market. While walking down the street, i saw many different and special things which made up from different materials like wood, glass, and many different things. Me and Emelynn has brought a wedding gift for eunice which is a heart shape with wood as the frame of the heart and something cushioned like felt with flower on it were the middle part of the heart. We also bought a special handmade card with the wedding gown as the cover with silver background for her.
When we arrive, we went to walk around the town and we have also entered the Gloucester Cathedral again. Since the weather is nice, the view inside were also very beautiful and we took few picture of its outlook.
After taking McD as dinner, we went to the dock to find the circus. The circus was hiding behind the Gloucester College near the dock. When we went in, i saw a few seperate red colour train like truck and also the camp. It looks almost the same where we can see in the movie. People are moving around buying food, there are souvenir shop in one of the train like truck.
We then went to get a cheap tickets with the password : ' guest of rocky' and pay for a pound and enter the circus. The Circus itself are a little bit small that what i've imagine. The stage were in a round shape and there are also a stage for all the instrument.
When the show begin, we are called to sing birthday song to an old man which is 80 years old this year. The show then began. two horses coming out from behind the curtain and start to perform. We also have jugglers, dog with a man with his hat, balancing show on a cable, tap dance (shoe tapping rhythm), after certain show, we rest for 15 minutes and continues, and we also saw a acrobatic performance where people stack up layer and layer. At the end of the show, all the performers dance together and they also invited people to dance with them. The music were play in a live situation where all the sound effect were make by instrument play by people in the circus and the emcees were very handsome >.<
After the show have finish, people just went out from the camp within 5 minutes. It immediately become empty. We then took few photos, while i am taking photo at the entrance, i step too far back and over the entrance while the instrument performers were standing there , i was wondering why emelynn was taking the photo so slow and she seems like stunt at there. at this very moment when i turn my head back and take a step back, i collides with them and they were behind me before i even realize it. They then start to squeezing me in the middle and one of the performer ( a handsome guy who played the drum) were hugging me and put his hat on my head. Emelynn then took the photo for me.
I then took the picture for emelynn. and they also took with her. We then went back with an exciting mood. While we passing through the gloucester dock, we took the photo of it and its very nice especially in the night where we dont get to see often.
It is a really great experience and a fun experience throughout the whole process.
